Season Premiere

Thoughts and prayers may not be enough for the Greenleafs, the Memphis megafamily who’ve lost their megachurch, Calvary, to Bob Whitmore (Beau Bridges) and Harmony and Hope Ministries.

As its contents are being loaded into moving trucks in preparation for the building to be demolished in a week, the Bishop (Keith David) and Lady Mae (Lynn Whitfield), along with daughter Grace (Merle Dandridge), are doing whatever they can to stop it all from happening.

Elsewhere, son Jacob (Lamman Rucker) deals with the demands and blackmail of his soon-to-be ex-wife Kerissa (Kim Hawthorne), while Charity (Deborah Joy Winans) returns her engagement ring after being betrayed by Phil (Sean Blakemore).

And that’s just half of the drama in premiere of the show’s fifth and final season.Gerrad Hall
