How does Maggie feel about that?
Is she on board with the trip?
LAUREN COHAN: Its multifaceted, her feelings about this.
Because one part of Maggies problem is that she still hasnt found Beth.
And the scraps of information she has dontt really give her anywhere to begin looking for her.
But it gives Maggie hope, even though she doesnt know still what direction to go in.
And Maggies been one for sort of keeping on the mission.
And when youre in this sort of directionless world, whats my job going to be?
You just grab it and hold on tight.
And Washington definitely offers up another opportunity for that.
How is Maggie dealing with the loss of her family?
But we havent seen the processing of Hershels loss, we havent seen that process with Beth.
I think that Maggie, knowing her sister, hoped that shed also found her sister with another group.
But we really havent really seen Maggie process.
And so she cant really admit yet that possibly everything is gone.
Its just the way that things have to be.
And so its almost like hopeful until proven otherwise.
Rick saw Tara on the other side of that fence with the guy who beheaded Maggies dad.
Hows that gonna play out?
Thats all I can say about that.
Yeah, theyre pretty rock solid.
But they are stronger than ever.
Finding each other spoke so much to their connection.
I love playing that relationship so much.
Its just about the support from each making them so strong, both separately and together.
You know, its an independent togetherness.
What was Gwyneth Paltrows thing?
You took the words right out of my mouth.
Weve actually been saying its so good for us to see the band back together.
I mean, it makes you feel like you’re able to do anything.
Like when you see the travails that everybody overcomes, it just literally inspires.
Its just a really, really inspiring episode.
It just makes you wanna kick butt, its really cool.
Whats it like shooting in the city and getting back to that urban terror we saw in season 1?
Its pretty awesome actually.
So that adds a level of glamor that we dont always get on the show.
I dont know what else I can say… it beats having to commute everyday.
Does it give off a different vibe that we havent seen in a while?
Yes, I think it makes it feel a little more present.
It makes it feel more real when were shooting in the city.
Interestingly, when I first joined the show I did have a few nightmares just about zombies themselves.
And then in the last couple months Ive had my first real apocalypse nightmares.
And in my dreams Im walking up to people and sometimes its people I dont know.
Everyones dead and theyre walking around you have to go!
Come on people, lets go!
I mean its just ridiculous.
But I dont know, you have a go at say your dialog quietly.
