Later that month, Swiftalso surpassedWhitney Houstonfor most cumulative weeks at No.
1 by a woman in the Billboard 200 chart.
Houston had 46 weeks, and Adele came in third place with 34 weeks.
Swift scored three People’s Choice Awards nominations, which were announced Oct. 1.
