But Jennifer isn’t just defending superhuman clients; she’s one herself.
“Your transformations are triggered by anger and fear,” Bruce tells her in the trailer, above.
“Those are like the baseline of any woman just existing,” she retorts.
The series follows Jennifer as she learns to cope with her powers and her demanding law job.
“I’m not a superhero,” she says in the trailer.
“That is for billionaires and narcissists and adult orphans, for some reason.”
The show’s cast also includesJameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, andRenee Elise Goldsberry.
