What were their experiences like?
And how is the show different there as opposed to the one we know here?

Up today, we have the champion ofSurvivor NZ: Thailand,Lisa Stanger.
New Zealand aired its first season ofSurvivorin 2017 withSurvivor NZ: Nicaragua.
I wanted something, I prepared for it, I backed myself to do it and I did!

There was so much power in that for me.
Now I know the richness of life is for everyone!
What is your proudest moment ever from playingSurvivor?
I had done it, it was over, and it had worked!
I feel very proud about the depth of the game I played.
What is your biggest regret from yourSurvivorexperience?
I get a lot of praise for voting out Matt.
I think “Look how much Adam is suffering, you could have prevented that.”
No game is worth having real life consequences over.
Side note: the boat drivers were so friendly.
We got out of the boat, and then we heard a lot of shouting and thunderous noise.
Eventually the farmers shepherded them to the other side of the island, and everyone was safe.
How do you feel about the edit you got on the show?
I was very careful not to just parrot what production wanted me to say.
If they asked me “Why do you think Dalton is such a jerk?”
Tara wanted to get rid of Brad, and I was against it).
What was it like coming back to regular society after being out there?
Was there culture shock or an adjustment coming back?
My first few nights home, I felt very confused.
I kept on going outside, feeling the pull of nature.
Fire really does represent your life out there.
Whom do you still talk, text, or email with the most from your season?
He tangata, he tangata, he tangata, the people, the people, the people."
Sometimes I dream about sucking everyone back to the island,Lost-style but with more food and warm clothes!
When I watched the first season ofSurvivor NZ, I was totally Team Tom.
I even flew up to the finale with a Team Tom sign in my luggage.
I have so much time for him.
I read his novellaSwimand felt grateful for how he depicted the insular nature of families.
I would love to spend more time with him, even if it was starving on an island somewhere.
I have watched every season since the start and loved it.
Better pre-screening of the contestants to ensure no future players are unknowingly on a Blood vs. Water season!
Who is one player from the U.S. version ofSurvivoryou would love to play with or against and why?
That is tough, but I am going to go with my pop in here and say Cirie!
Of course, it’s Cirie.
It’s always been Cirie.
Finally, would you play again if asked?
I’ve grown so much sinceSurvivor, I couldn’t do that anymore.
I definitely feel intrigued thinking about the possibilities for playing differently, knowing what I know about myself now.
