Some projectshave already been withdrawn, butBlack Panther 2directorRyan Cooglerwill not be following suit.

For those reasons, I will not be engaging in a boycott of Georgia.

“Our film is staying in Georgia,” Coogler writes.

Some Hollywood studios and guilds have also joined voting rights organizations and activists indenouncing the bill.

Black Panther 2is currently scheduled to hit theaters in 2022.

Coogler is alsodeveloping a Wakanda spin-off seriesfor Disney+.
