The king of Staten Island is taking on the life of the king of punk.
Saturday Night LivestarPete Davidsonhas landed the starring role in the upcomingJoey Ramonebiopic from Netflix and STXfilms.
The casting was announced on the 20th anniversary of Ramone’s death.

It will be made with the cooperation and support of Ramone’s estate.
Davidson most recently starred inThe King of Staten IslandandBig Time Adolescence, in addition to his tenure onSNL.

He will next be seen inThe Suicide Squad.
