Let’s not forget that Blake is the reigning champ here, so maybe he’s onto something. How do Team Ariana, Team Kelly, and Team Legend wind things up? Let’s take a look. They love each other and I love Ariana’s impression of Chenoweth getting a slurpee. Even in rehearsals you’re able to see that Ryleigh is outperforming the sisters. Unfortunately, it still feels that way in the actual performance. The sisters' harmonies are tight and precise, but Ryleigh steals the show....

Is it a “you had to be there” kind of moment? Probably, but I won’t apologize. Inter-Coach banter onThe Voicebrings me joy and it keeps me young. Anyway, six more singers audition for our coaches this evening. Let’s see how they did. He’s got a nice rasp and almost sounds like Ray LaMontagne-does-rock-music. Blake, Nick, and Kelly all want a chance to add Connor to their team. But Blake is super pumped about Connor and his “complete control of the stage....

People aren’t joking around when it comes to earning a spot in the Top 10. That’s a pretty decent birthday right there. Blake echoes the sentiment and adds that Wendy is already “performing like a legend” up on stage. Not that it much matters, I guess. So maybe country isn’t so scary after all. Holly’s fans give her a huge song to tackle but sweet, reserved Holly doesn’t sweat it....

Also, there’sTeam Legend’s battle between Janora Brown and Shadale on Ariana Grande’s “One More Time. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the rest of the evening’s Battles. The performance is so fast-paced and high octane, but Joshua Vacanti really works it. Winner: Joshua Vacanti! Carson Peters has a real edge to his country voice, while Clint is a bit softer and smoother. Depends which vibe you’re into, I guess!...

How do contestants move forward, you ask? Well, the person on each team with the highest audience vote automatically moves forward. Then, each coach gets to save one remaining member of their team. So a lot is riding on tonight’s quickie performances. Her Pink song in the previous round was more emotional, but this one feels very professional. Speaking of sad and pure: this song!
