Wasn’t season 4 mostly about Barry and company embracing the importance of their feelings? It turns out, the more Barry uses his speed-thinking, the quicker his emotions start disappearing....
To say this entire situation creeps him out would be an understatement. However, the Speed Force is very eager to connect with Barry and keeps trying to help out. I’ll admit, I was somewhat surprised by why Barry was so wary of the Speed Force. And that’s all nice, but I still don’t completely trust the Speed Force. It’s pure power, and power protects itself. I’m waiting for her juicing Barry’s powers to backfire....
Eva McCulloch invades Central City as Iris and Harrison Wells help Barry regain his speed. The Flashis a very sappy show endearingly so. It’s a necessary force in these cynical times. Right now it feels likeThe Flashis the busiest it’s ever been. That being said, none of this is boring especially this episode. First, Wally whisks the passengers and pilot to safety. With the day saved, the episode starts digging even deeper into whats different about Wally....
Both stories land in predictable yet intriguing places that make me excited for whats to come. If that entrance wasnt enough to leave an impression, theres also Natalie Dreyfuss excellent and confident performance. Sue is sarcastic, quick-witted, and Dreyfuss and Hartley Sawyers onscreen chemistry crackles from their first scene together.
