“You don’t have to have an opinion when you’re in this situation.

When you are a minority, when you are a woman, you have to have an opinion.

“The hate crimes that are perpetrated against us are okay.

It happens so much to our people, and we have to keep swallowing it.”

It felt like non-Asians were very quiet about it.

It doesn’t make sense if you’re doing it just when it’s trendy.”
