Jessica Walter, the Emmy winner and star ofArrested Development,has died at the age of 80.
According toThe Associated Press, Walter’s passing was confirmed Thursday by her daughter, Brooke Bowman.
She also earned Emmy nominations for her work onTrapper John M.D., andStreets of San Francisco.

“It was just very, very special,” Walterpreviously told EWof the role.
“Of all my memories of things I’ve done in my career, that was definitely a highlight.
I’ll never forget it.”

Jessica Walter was born in Brooklyn on Jan. 31, 1941 and grew up in Astoria, Queens.
But it was television where she made her most substantial mark.
