Douglas joined the cast ofY&Rin March of 1982 to play the chairman of Jabot Cosmetics.
His character was killed off in 2006, but he made ghostly returns to Genoa City.
He last appeared on the series in 2016.
He will be sorely missed."
Born in Massachusetts, Douglas attended Brandeis University on a football scholarship.
His early TV credits include gigs onThe Donna Reed Show, The Outer Limits, The Rogues,andGunsmoke.
An accomplished singer, Douglas recorded an album calledThe Best Is Yet to Come.
