Such is the case with the newThor: Love and Thundertrailer, which debuted Monday during the NBA finals.
DirectorTaika Waititinarrates the trailer himself, returning as the soft-spoken rock monster Korg.
“Ragnarokfelt a bit like a party,” Waititipreviously told EW.
“It was quite festive.
Everyone sort of asks this question in the film: What is your purpose?
The trailer also introduces the first look atChristian Bale’svillain, the nefarious Gorr the God Butcher.
Thor: Love and Thunderwill hit theaters July 8.
