HBO Maxhas delayed its royal family comedyThe Princefollowing thedeathof Prince Philip, EW can confirm.
The animated series was previously expected to debut in late spring, according toThe Hollywood Reporter.
In a statement obtained by EW, the platform confirmed the news.

Last January, HBO Maxannouncedit had given the green light toThe Prince, created by longtimeFamily GuywriterGary Janetti.
The project is inspired by Janetti’s viral Instagram posts that imaginedPrince Georgespilling tea on the British monarchy.
The cast also includesOrlando Bloomand Condola Rashad (Billions) asPrince HarryandMeghan Markle, andSophie Turneras Princess Charlotte.
Back in April, Janetti teased thatThe Princewas “coming soon.”
