“Immediately, I thought I was having a stroke.
[Justin] thought I was having a stroke,” Bieber said in the video.
“I had so many things running through my head: ‘I’m having a stroke.
I’m really scared.
I don’t know what’s going on.
I don’t know why this is happening.
Am I gonna have permanent issues from this?'”
By the time Bieber arrived at the hospital, her symptoms had subsided.
Bieber said her doctors explained that the clot likely formed from a “perfect storm” of recent events.
The cause for the clot traveling to Bieber’s brain remained undetected until she had a transcranial doppler test.
“It went very smoothly.
I’m recovering really well, really fast,” Bieber said.
Bieber noted that the prescribed blood thinners worsened her anxiety.
However, after talking to her doctors, she was prescribed a different dose that diminished these side effects.
