Plummer died Friday morning at his home in Connecticut.

And I was able to do theater.”
For Plummer, there was no such thing as retirement.
“And maybe God.
And then that’s about it.”
“Chris [Plummer] was always on the list.
So you find that out, but quietly, because you don’t want it going around.
I flew into New York and met with [Plummer] and he said yes.
Miraculously, they were.”
Plummer is survived by wife Elaine Taylor and a daughter, actress Amanda Plummer.
