Carpenter also came to the defense ofJustice LeaguestarGal Gadot, who previously said Whedonthreatened herduring the film’s reshoots.
“I believe Gal Gadot not only understands career threats in English but also in Hebrew and Arabic.
Possibly French, Spanish, and Italian too,” Carpenter wrote.

Representatives for Carpenter and Whedon did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
