In an interview with ABC News in December, the actorinsisted he didn’t pull the trigger.
“I’m still in shock and stunned and sad,” she added.
“I’m proud of myself and my co-hosts.

About a week after the Oscars telecast,Smith announced his resignationfrom the Academy.
